A Heartfelt Thanks To Everyone

I want to thank my crew, the Burning Man Artery and DPW for all their hard work for bringing Tantalus to the playa. We had a rougher experience than usual this year at Burning Man but thanks to an amazing, hardworking crew we kept Tantalus operating through dust storms and mechanical failures.

Because of the absurd timeliness of the piece's theme and because of limited interaction due to bad playa conditions, we are bringing Tantalus to both the LA (10/4) and SF (10/12) decompressions. Tantalus deeply reflects on current events that affect us all that we cannot ignore.

Help!

We are working in Oakland right now, repairing and modifying the piece to bring a motorized, scaled down version to both decompressions.

If you can help out...that would be great. There is a great need for Tantalus Triage. Basically taking a look at all of the pieces to see what needs to be fixed. There is paint to touch up, figures to be re-cast, modifying the fence, did I mention painting? Stop for an hour or two if you have the time. Any time is a good time.
